Look for anyone who has Samick bows in stock.

Inexpensive, durable, and will get you out there without eating a huge hole in the "man purse".

There is a Chek-mate TD Hunter for sale on this site. It's a tad over your budget but a steal at his asking price. They retail for over $700 and most of the long term guys I know swear by them. I own one and affirm that they are great shooters... virtually no hand shock.

I have a takedown that I think is 48# that I never use. I will pull it out tonight and take a look and let you know.

Specialty Shooting Sports sells a Martin takedown in several draw weights for $189.00, comes with tab, armguard, stringer, and three carbon arrows and case. Seems like a very good price, $149.00 for just the bow, Check their web site. Fast service.

Go better than a PSE mustang and get yourself a Sage Take Down. You'll find them at the Cabellas or Three Rivers sites.

I myself use an inexpensive bow (Martin Jaguar) and am very happy with it, but given the choice again I would go with the Samick Sage Takedown. They should both be in the $140ish range.
