Should they....
make it mandatory for people to actually put what the subject is in the post? So you don't have to read (if you can call this reading) threads like this if you don't want to?

unless of course you were born in 2001 in which case, don't worry about above comments.

dont worry you will eventually run into a buck during youth season that will stand there long enough for you to take a shot at.

Now I feel bad too. Mark, that really wasn't that funny!

Hang in there, young man. Whitetail does are available to youths until the end of November. Not sure where you live, but the last two weeks of this month give you great opportunity. Next year, focus on the first week of September. Labor Day weekend is a great time for you to see lots of bucks.

Stick with it, but target the Whitey Does. Hunt well known White Tail hangouts early morning and late evening, just remember to be READY.
If you wear glasses at school, put them on for hunting to, seeing deer that are not moving takes good vision.
When you are going up the mountain in the morning tell your driver to go SLOW.

Well going back to the original question, I would have to say yes they should give the young fellows a chance at a doe for youth season.

Funny to see the saints with their feet jammed in their mouths again.

To the YOUNG guy that started this post, have faith, they will be there sooner or later. You have many years of hunting ahead of you and it will get easier- guaranteed. There is a GOS for whitey does later on that may help you out too.

The time will come. Put in lots of time shooting at the range in the mean time so you are ready for the big day. The last thing you want is a miss, or worse a wounded deer. Spend lots of time in the woods, and do lots of glassing and looking for parts of deer hiding behind a tree or bush, not a whole deer standing in the wide open.

I know kids that've been successful. Some have even nailed some GOOD deer.
I also know of some that haven't; but that's the nature of the beast (hunting).

Why fluff it up?
There's MORE to hunting than cutting a tag.

Up here in Region7A the youth season's are for antlerless mule deer and either sex white-tailed deer...and the seasons are quite long. Great opportunity up here!

There are also opportunities for youth only limited entry hunting. Take a look at those for next season.

He even edited it!!

Yeah, I have seen both versions and the one NOW up, has been cut to shreds.

Overall, I think youth opprotunities are pretty damned good. There's LOTTSA hunts available.
