Well i know the topic has been started before but I have been waiting for my PAL for a while now. I sent it out but haven't been charged on my credit card so I assume they haven't received it but its been a month. Hopefully I hear something soon. Just applied for my non restricted. Ah.... the waiting game

you can always call in to ask what's going on. I had to call a few times.

did you answer "yes" to any of the questions on the application? ie:have you recently been divorced?have you ever been charged with a violent crime?

If you did answer "yes" to any of these questions, then they will have to investigate further before you get a response causing a further delay in your application.

don't forget there is a 28 day mandatory waiting period. then it will be processed in order received, and they get 1000-1500 a day

If you're experiencing delays over a month then call in. I had to call in and found out my sister didn't answer her phone when they called and they won't leave a message. I got her to call them and do her interview and had it as fast as the mail can ship across Canada after that.
