Had me a great day

so... haven't really been out much for waterfowl yet, but today was just one of those great days. we woke up and hunted a field 'till 9, we were shooting absolutely garbage, we could have easily limited out right then and there. We ended up with 10, one being a huge fat northern bird (red feet), then we headed out to a different place, we ran into two beautiful pintails, one beautiful bull. I shot my first ringneck too! he went into a lightly flooded grass field (which we thought was pretty weird)
ended the day with 12

now with the long awaited rains the grass fields we hunt are becoming absolute magnets for widgeon, thats basically all we get from late nov-end of season, i love it though, they decoy like a dream
CF... you are in the valley right? ive seen a lot of migrating ducks flying around there in the fading daylight coming home from deer hunting on the #1... right around chilliwack there were tons, lots of swans too,
