Just wanted to see how everyone is doing with the buck season. I know I have been out this past weekend and I am seeing less deer in general anyone else finding this true. Watched a couple does today and I don't believe the rut has kicked in yet.

Buddy was out yesterday said they saw 60 deer shot a couple 4 pts and saw some other bucks....

Seen three 110 to 120 WT bucks in the two days I have hunted them so far all 4x4. Also saw half a dozen in the week we elk hunted all around the same size.
Having trouble finding a 4pt mule this year saw a small 4x4 today but no big guy yet.

Just small ones so far, rut is not going yet for WT's. Let 6 small ones go in the last week or so..

yeah I have been out just not having luck finding any bucks. I think I will just have to keep getting out. How does rattling and calling work around here.

The rut is definitely on. Lots of fresh scrapes out there. Bucks are trailing does. Oh and we got 3 rutted up bucks this weekend ;)

One only needs to take a look at the night sky for the past week or so. Full moon, its daylight at night, they are moving when there is no hunters around. My trail cameras are going off the charts with WT pics. They are smart animals and will adapt to pressures from people. That being said the group that I hunt with downed 3 wt bucks this weekend.
