any called a bear in with a squeaky toy?

We use those deer callers/bleats with good success,especially in the spring,when the big boars are cruising looking for fawns.If we spot one,sometimes they'll turn and come in to it when you let it squeal,like the deer in distress.

I have tried the Ruffy Dog predator calls and others and had absolutely no sucess. I have seen bears on the road eating grass and stopped and tried it just for fun, I get a look like " are you kidding me" from the bear with no response. Although if you have a doe tag they are like magic. I have consistantly had does charge in on me while calling for coyotes...go figure.

try to sound like a "rotting pile of dead fish", that works for certain !
