So fire team KLP1 decided to head to an old haunt and put a hurting on some birds, that haven't been shot at in a bit.
I started by grabbing the camera man and driving to the field we load the gear into the 4x4, driving through fields in mid Nov is AWESOME. After some pretty hectic pre legal flight time, we got up and kicked the birds off the ground.
Then we got into some pretty stellar wing shooting of drakes, totally out of character I know ;). The day ended with a very nice mix bag including a couple chicken sized northern Lards, a Eurasian widge, and a pretty american widge. I am sadden to report that the Eurasian suffered a catastrophic pounding from a 3" #2 at 8 yds.(Pretty sure thats a Hanging Offence)
a good time was had by all, the camera man is still sifting through some 12,500 plus pics.
