SO. I have amassed everything I need to get back into duck hunting: a dog, a canoe, camo gear, decoys and -- as of today -- a new Remington 870 Express.
From what I've read, my best bet is the Pitt Polder. I'm planning on showing up well before first light, paddling out until I find somewhere suitable, and then digging in for the morning (on a weekday, to avoid the crowds).
However, I've read differing accounts of what's happening in that area over the last few years (roads being opened, others being closed, etc) and would love if someone could post or PM me some tips for hunting that part of the Pitt.
