Went to Region 5 Nov.1 LEH Bull moose hunt last week for 5 days although I did not get my Bullwrinkle, I had great time quading and shooting some Ruffed grouse for dinner. I only shot what we can eat for 1 night dinners (3 hunters) and did not even bother to shoot some to take home.
I told my buddies have to leave them (grouse) for next year brood stocks.
Overall, it was great trip. Saw hundreds, well, actually couple dozens of flattops mulies, 1 very large 3X3 mulie buck and spike. First time saw some Whitetail does in the area I hunted. I been hunting this area for years.
