Figured I d post this situation . Deer hunting in mid oct . Spot a nice little buck . Find a good rest . Crosshairs on . Squeeze . Boom . Little guy makes an effort to run uphill . Into thick brush of which I lose sight . Instantly another buck jumps out of where he jumped in . About the same size except I know mine had 3pts . And I made a good shot . So I walk a few feet to get a better look where he went into and there he comes tumbling down the hill . An excited person with fever may have shot the second buck thinking he's gonna get away . Happens so fast . I just wish I would have waited, as an even bigger buck was on the downside coming up . http://i840.photobucket.com/albums/zz324/mgmcbride/th_DSC_0127.jpg (http://s840.photobucket.com/albums/zz324/mgmcbride/?action=view&current=DSC_0127.jpg)

Good point LW. This has happened several times and I always think huh, how did I miss only to find it dead a few steps away from where the other one appeared.
