Just pulled the trigger on a new pair from opticsplanet.com. Anyone using these? Looked at Leica and Swaro too, but the Zeiss was amazing. Can't wait to get them out in the bush.

Mine just returned from getting repaired, the lenses failed and looked like the coatings were delaminating or something. Now my zeiss spotter has to go back because the internal lense retaining ring worked itself loose and the internal lense is floating around inside. Not too fricken happy, but at least the warrenty is good. Optical quality is good.

I have zeiss 7x42B dialyts and leitz 8x32 tirovids, both pairs have over 20 years in the field and I smile everytime I look thru either. If I had to choose I would probably.............i'm not sure. Glad I don't have to make that decision.

I have had the FL 10x42 for many years and they have been great. Great in low light. I also have the 10x25 as backup and use them lots when I get into thick stuff as you don't need long range and they are nice and lite
