Had a nice big body on the guy. I didn't want to post field pics of it without his permission.

Was there any evidence of a broken leg bone? A friend got a blacktail last week with similar antler differences. It had a broken femur. I wonder if the messed up antler rule for deer applies to elk too.

Hi Beni..Seems like the year of odd balls...I also got a screwed up elk..He was a 6x3..His right side was a nice 6pt...On the left ...nice 1st pt....then about a 2/3rds mainbeam...Just past his 1st along on top of the mainbeam was a 3inch parallel pt...He eats good...Didnt notice any bullet damage on his right side...Possibly hurt his right testicle last year or ?..Anybody with a biology degree? Elknut..

He didn't mention anything out of the ordinary with the bull. They deboned him in the field it looks like from the other pictures he has, said he's been good eating so far.
