which areas in region 3 has the most whitetails ?

I would have to say the Merrit, and Logan Lake areas would be my top spots for White tails in region 3, but then I haven't done much hunting Sicamous way. 3-12. 3-13, 3-19 are my top spots for the rat *******s :)

Whitetail along the North Thompson river from Chinook Cove to Little Fort on the beaches and Islands, some bruiser bucks but real hard to hunt mixed farm and some Indian Rez around Chinnook Cove and across the river @ Chu-Chua. But in between and around you can score on a "Great White!" If your lucky and good.

I too would say Merritt in terms of numbers on Crown land. Sicamous/Salmon Arm has some good numbers, but much of it is private land. There are some bruisers in Salmon Arm city limits!!! As Jelvis says, the North Thompson valley itself has some pockets, and I would agree that it may have the best potential for a kick*ss reg 3 whitie.
