elk in region 7-20a

my sons have leh draws for late season elk dec -feb...i have never hunted the area and was wondering if anyone had any pointers or know of any ranchers in the area that allow hunters ... i am considering chetwynd or dawson creek area
any info would be much appreciated....draws are for either sex
