I recall some time ago reading in our forum here about a Stone's sheep that was not passed by MoE, however the hunter ended up taking the issue to court and won.

I did some Googling/searching but have been unable to find anything on it.

The cost of lunch and a couple rounds of drinks hang in the balance here, so any info/help/links would be appreciated!

IIRC it was a sheep taken in Region 6 - the horns cured in tighly above the eye and did not physically break the bridge of the nose. However, if you were to extrapolate a straight line along the bridge back through the skull plate the horns would breach the line.

I believe the hunter lived in Kitimat?

Not sure on the court case outcome...

I know these aren't the sheep, but some interesting comparisons and unique examples of full curl Dall Sheep.

Interesting.....we passed on a ram this yr whose horns did the same thing you described. He was a lot closer to being legal than the ram in the court case.
When we visited the Compulsary Inspector after our hunt he said he would have been legal had his horns broke that plane cextended from the bridge of his nose.

Luckily, the ram in question was only 6 yrs old so no one wanted to shoot him...so it wasn't an issue.

Rub, not sure what you have for details, but maybe you can find something here
