I don't know the area at all. I'm going with a friend who knows it pretty well, so I really have no Idea exactly where we are going.

Well if he's thinking about hitting the EM&K (AKA Salmon River Road) tell him to forget it. There's guys in there right now by the dozen. It's busier than hell for some reason this year. I would suggest trying up off the 100 rd (Just south of Bear Lake) out to, well you can go forever on that road if you want. I saw a couple bulls later in the season near coffeepot mountain last year but didn't get a shot off. Have fun. Shoot straight, please.

There is teapot and coffeepot mountain. Two different places. Coffeepot is farther north. My stomping grounds. Mom and dad are out this weekend.
We're heading in there next Thursday. We got 6 bull draws to shoot up so it should be a pretty good time. We go in just past the Bear Lake gas station and hunt the Merton Lake area. See you in there.
