That's his good side. The other spike was broken off, likely on a firm teet.

An acquaintance of mine hammered one in Helmer Creek this past week. I called bullshit but he had the iPhone pics to prove it. Right off the road it seems

He's not on here though to gloat about it :)

That bull was alive when we parted company. I had already cancelled my Bull tag. You always see animals after your tags are filled or the day after the season has closed. He wasn't people shy so chances are he is gone.

Let one go on opening day in Oliver ,had him in the crosshairs at 125 but there was brush all around.Have played that wound, chase, lost, game, left him for someone else .Tough to do don't get that many chances and my son yelling shoot him the whole time ,maybe we both learned something, he still figures my .375 would have chopped through it but I was not willing to chance it.:(

Here is my immy from this year. Also my first moose ever! I'm waiting on the field pics still. I have a story to tell about this hunt but will save it for when I get that pic and the others.

I lost my synopsis and can't find one anywhere for the life of me. Just curious if any of you know if immy's are still open around the Sicamous/Salmon arm area? And on that note where to find them as I am heading for a hunt there this weekend and have never hunted the area before?
Thanks in advance

Yeah found the closures online, thanks man. So is there a fat chance at finding a immature moose in this area? I hear there are lots of private land and IR's. Where is the access into the backcountry and is there much crown land to hunt?
