Call-Out For African Mounts.

A Budd and I (and our respective Women Folk) are doing Namibia, hunting for Plains Game. And I'm having a shit of a time trying to select out what I wanna go for - I *think* I've narrowed it down to Giraffe and Wart Hog...

Anywho, If ya got pics of your mounts, I want to see them! Any and all Plains Game is appreciated as I'm mostly hoping for diversity on how each species can be displayed and this *should* help me out with my selections.

Ive got a bunch on my phone from my mom-in-laws hubby's place. He's done a bunch of safaris and I have taken some pics of my favs. Ill see if I can get them to the comp.
Brett has seen them, and they look amazing.

My favs are Gemsbuck and Kudu. Hes got both of those, as well as a full size cat ( I think leopard?), warthog, Ibex, Zebra rug, duiker, bushbuck...cant remember them all, but whenever Im at their place I spent a fair amount of drooling at them :)

Yup, that Leopard is a stick tickler. I thought that that would be THE ONE to go for but after talking with the outfit, we agreed not to. :sad:

No, he didnt have that batch of mounts back at the time I took the pics. But I have seen it since, and it looks coooooooooooool :)

Go to Bowsite.com and click on the Africa link. Tons of pics from mounts to live animals. Mine are all still euros. Zebra is a flat rug.
I can lend you a great video that would have most of the animals you might encounter.
You can hardly go to Africa and not shoot a gemsbuck, kudu, impala and for sure a warthog or two. If/when I go back, bushbuck is on top of my list. And a few more baboons just for fun.

Amazing place!! Better go now, it could change dramaticly in the next ten years.

I hear what you're saying but I'm not that cranked up for a lot of the animals, I'm sure once I get there, things will change. Fer SURE doing me a Zebra and fairly confident of the Warty.... Giraffe is a consideration just not sure WTH I'd do with it. :confused:
