I was out today checking slashes and walking trails. Saw 32 Mulie does and fawns AND NOT 1 DAM BUCK. Snowed like crazy up high on the west side of Kelowna, up Bear main.

I've seen the same. 25 deer on a hillside and only one little spike all the rest were does and fawns.

Or less.. Two things working in your favor: snow will push them down, the rut will move the bucks down to the does. Sounds like you've got a good spot. The only thing going against you is you've only got ten days of rifle season to find a four point.

The does are all moving into winter range now on the Westside. My late season bow spot is starting to fill up more and more each day. I too saw 30 or more on Sunday. No bucks. Lots of rubs though. They are there, just staying nocturnal for the time being. Like the guys said. About 9 or 10 days and they will be there. Stay on the ladies!!!!

Saw SIXTY mulies on Friday in one Km of road on or near alfalafa fields....not one inch of bone.
Man I know where I'd be hunting in a week if I wasn't going somwehere warm :D
