Just wondering if anyone knows what the whitetail hunting is like around Whitewood Sask? I have a family member out there that has a ton of farm/ranch land and was told to come out for a hunt...

im not sure what the hunting is like ther,but im pretty sure they introduced a draw system in sask this year

It was a draw this year.... sort of. You needed to apply for a specific area, and you were guaranteed to get it.

Yes it was a draw and everybody got drawn. I am going and two friends to rosetown the hunting there is great ware is whitewood.

Witewoods almost at the Manitoba boarder on the Transcan. So I have to plan for next year with the draw thing? How do you put in for that?

for every none resident hunter that applied for a draw in sask. this year will get drawn the draw date is over and you had to apply online, the kicker though is that you had to pay the liscence and tag fee which is around 150 and pay by credit card!!! so if somethin happens and you cant go you are out that 150 bucks, Whitewood should be close to yorkton by the sounds of it haha ive been to yorkton and seen some monsters its a good area!!!! goin this year by kyle which is south east of diefenbaker lake hope to get a good one
