Just curious how this zone is holding out, We used to hunt the Klisbako drainage whenever drawn for LEH. Last trip was 5 years ago and we had more wolves and grizzlies than Moose.

How is these days?

Fishpot's Ok. Not sure if they'll still have water in the pipes though?
There is wolves around, so be ready to shoot. Should be able to find a moose out there, but probably not on the Kluskus road, it get combed pretty good at all hours.

264, what area was the cabin in? There's still a few around, but most of them are ATV access only.

good luck...DEFINATLEY some wolf issues..would actually be surprised if you dont get a wolf...

weather is ideal for hunting , getting cold overnights up high..

I agree with Drillbit..should be doable for a moose..

I wont hunt wolf..but I will shoot it for sure..how's the grouse? Worth taking the 12g? I'm thinking around Kevin lake for moose..any more pointers Steve?(we chatted a few months ago)..

I remember, be prepared for snow and exellent tracking ...should help in locating the moose.....

youll do well, and drop as many wolves as possible..

Not sure which zone you are in but we used to hunt the 4200RD.....It was always good for moose until it got really grown in...

There is no snow there yet but it wont be long,looking for ward to the pictures of the moose

take a two way radio with the road channels as there are many logging trucks coming off the main arteries right now. And by many I mean around 200-300 loads/ day. as well as as soon as the snow flies there will be alot of slash burning going on out there from the last years logging so might get a little smokey in certain areas. big country out there. have spent alot of time out there working in november and always see a good number of decent bulls. PM me if your interested in the frequenzies for the road channels or any more info on the burning areas as I am the contractor doing the work.

I found internet:) seen plenty of cow calf combos..no bulls yet.. only seen a few trucks on the 4000 rd. Lotsa space up here..lol
