So here we are on the last evening. 530 pm with 30 minutes of light left after a 12 day hunt with nothing to show except some chickens.
Pow. Large Moose Cow goes down 100 meters in the bush. Now the work starts.
Up hill, over logs, around stumps, through uneven ground. You get the point.
Finally onto the road where we can start working on this beast.
Freezing rain and darkness sets in.
Fast forward to 230 am in the morning. Animal quartered, skinned, and hanging.
Time for dinner and a couple of "pops" by the fire to warm up.
Bed at 430 am.
Alarm goes off at 900 am and up we get to start packing.
On the road by 330 pm and home by 230 am.
What a trip! Ya just gotta love it!

Better the last moment than not at all, Biro. Good job on the midnight quartering.

Will post as soon as I get a new computer at home. Doing this from work right now. Old computer died. Have to give it a burial at the "recycle location nearest to you".
