2 - 5 point whitey bucks down.

Well decided to head back in and hang out with Wayner (1947) for the weekend and do a little huntin'. We all had our game plans down and were all off in our spots...me and my buddy Matt who has hunted the area with me in the past stuck together to try and find some whitey bucks that were respectable and worth shooting. We headed into a newer cut block but before we sat down for the evening we decided to change our idea's and head up even higher into a different cut block that we had not hunted before. It happened pretty quick, as we were just entering the cut block my buddy slammed on his brakes signaling there was a buck down the bank in the timber. I got off loaded my rifle just incase and walked to the edge of the bank by his quad and saw it was a decent buck standing clueless at 15 yards roughly. Looking it over I decided quickly it was not what I was after and watched him stare at us...not seconds later my buddy says here comes another one! Again 15 yards out walks this nice respectable buck...nice 5 point looked pretty good so I figured I would take em'. Boom dropped him on the spot with a solid neck shot. The other buck stood there so my buddy figured the other one was a good buck for him to take...he was reaching for his gun on his quad but I handed him my gun to use and grabbed my video camera and filmed him shooting his at roughly 20 yards dropping it on the spot no problem. We landed these 2 bucks down side by side making it a good evening hunt.

I will say hi to 47 for everyone on here when I go back in, not this weekend but the next.
I hunted with him a couple of times on the weekend and he is doing very well and being patient for his BIG buck he will get this fall. He turned down a nice 5 when we were out the other night and then a nice 4 the next morning and a couple other smaller bucks waiting for mr.BIG, I along with many others cannot wait to see the buck he will end up getting. He has a great amount of game plans and should do just fine...I will be heading back in probably 2 or 3 more weekends and hopefully before the season closes I will get a nice mulie buck, me and wayne were talking and when me and my buddy(who still has a whitey tag) head back in there for our annual whitey rut hunt I am hoping to be able to film him (Wayner) hunting for his buck and hopefully getting him dropping a monster buck on camera. Stay tuned

This is my buddy dropping his buck just after I had shot mine. The buck in the camera is looking at his buddy who is motionless on the ground... These bucks have not been too pressured and were hanging out at the edge if a brand new cut block...

I give Shaun lots of credit for the way he makes the right call on should I go left ,right or the other way Shaun and Mat are very smart young hunter.

Shaun has made a real name for himself on this HBC site ,there is a somewhat a bit of luck alright but then it takes a person that has the right in stinks to make the right call ,you know what I am talking about my friend.
