Here is my fathers 2011 Archery Bull. I called it into 15 yards for him. Then I ended up putting an arrow in him at 9 yards. Both great shots so he only made it 15 yards and we watched him tip over. Those broadheads do some serious damage! He will be getting it scored shortly after the european mount is done. Will post some more pics of the finished result also.

Me with his bull.

My bow in his rack. 31 inch axel to axel

Any guess on the score?

Wow, not many points on that guy. Nice one, congrats.
Not much for scoring racks, so I will leave that to the experts, lol.

October 5th was the harvest date. Had a good cold morning and it didnt take long to get him in close! I shoot muzzy and my father shoots montec. Both were well placed shots so he didn't stay on his feet long.

sweet lookin trophy!! video would a bin kick ass!!! if your curious about the score the guys calling 180 plus are off. Tape measure isnt going to make it any more cool as it IS cool!! as far as scores go a moose needs lots of points , long pans and wide pans and semetrical , they can be decieving to say the least.

congrats!

My father, who died fourteen years ago, never missed an opportunity to regale any audience , large , or small of the Moose his son ( that would be me) called in for him thirty plus years ago. Some folks even heard the story more than once !!! Get ready CL, my guess is you two will never tire of relating "That time we got that brute of a Moose". Well done, congrats.

Congrats, that is a great bull!

I was fortunate enough to arrow one this year as well at 27 yds (MUCH smaller than that bruiser of yours), but it was one of the single greatest thrills I've ever experienced hunting!

Nice Bowtech (is that the General?).

right on guys! thats a dude of a moose! to down one like that with a bow is an acomplishment to say the least. and doing it with your dad makes it that much better. im saying that because i finaly got to down an animal with my dad this year. after hunting all our lives together we finaly shot a moose and actualy its quite weird because the bull looks like it could be a brother of yours! quite similar in a few ways. il post the link to a pic of ours and you can see the similarities. mine was 48 1/2 wide.
anyways congrats on an awesome moose and an awesome story. this is what we live for :)
