So a buddy of mine just got his hunting license in the mail the other day and wants to head out for a day trip only problem is he doesn’t have his PAL. Another buddy of mine who has only ever given me good advice told me that he didn’t need his PAL to take a shot well hunting as long as I am there right beside him, because I have my PAL. I couldnt find any information to support this so I figured I would ask for a second opinion anyone know?

i should also add I have gone to the range with him before and that he can shoot a gun and has a solid shot.

you're buddy is right. as long as you are right there with him he's good to go. he only needs his PAL if he wants to POSESS(on his own) or AQUIRE his own firearm.
