I read allot about our muley rut around b.c now what about the white tail rut.Does it coincide with the muley rut as far as time line goes.what are some tactics for hunting whiteys in the rut.Are they just as jumpy during the rut or are they foot draggers like the muleys .Me and a friend have both cut our reg 3 muley tag but want to bring a couple beginners on a mid nov hunt. we focus on whiteys them on 4 point muleys any areas in region 3 have heavy whitey populations.

This year is going to be good for whitetail rut, when you shoot does it makes for a good hunting ratio to be able to attract bucks, calling and rattling should be very affective, I would say between Nov 10th and 14th would be the start of the breeding faze of the rut, you can start rattling in early November, good luck and sit up high out of the wind and eye site of the skiddish whitetail.
