Last day of the season and i finally find a beauty 6 x 6 bull elk and i cant get any closer that 1000 yards and i still have a 2 plus hour hike to get to my boat. Next year i guess.

Wouldnt have helped me in my situation, way to far in the bush and my pack is heavy enough. OK Park can be tough.

didn't see anyone, 7 mulie does, one small buck, 11 goats, 3 rams, and 12 elk including a beauty 6 x 6. Not a bad day hunting but I am a little sore and tired.

besides, mark doesn't hunt over there, its to hard

I think you missed the part that I couldn't get any closer, I'm not as sure footed as a mountian goat and I have to get back to work tommorow, I turned my phone off and went hunting today, but the work still needs to get done.
