just back from my first ever elk foray, trip was huge success. sorry no pics of bull elk but i did see one legal bull and was also able to spend some awesome time up in the hills. it might seem like old hat to you guys that live there but just hearing that first bugle was enough a rush to make it a great trip. also bumped into a number of local hunters who were more than just helpful to this elk rookie,quality guys. i,ll be going back,i,ve got the elk bug worse than when i left.
