Out goat hunting today, seen 6 goats acouple in shooting range, but they were nannys. The big billies were out of range. Returned to my quad and glassed the valley I just hiked out of. All the goats were now down low, and all together, within 100yards of each other. Could the Rut be on, or is it still to early? Normally I don't see the Nannies and Billies together until the rut.

i got a goat draw too and im thinking its a bit early too lol...i havent even seen any goats...more sheep then anything lol....i dont think theyre ruttn yet

Early? both my Billy's were shot mid-septemeber. As for the Rut, should be kicking in now...
