My first moose

Just got back from PG. Got my first moose (cow draw). Lots of old wolf kills in the area. I counted 4 skulls and lots of older wolf tracks. The moose sign was few and far between. Man, is it thick up there, tough slugging off road. Most of the guys were just hanging on the road. Only saw one bull and one cow in 5 days. Everyone else in the area never seen much either. Still was a good time. Can't wait till next year to do it all again!

That was one thing I noticed also. The meat was pale like veal...I can't wait for the steaks. mmm....
