Hey there,

What do you think of the rattling bags? I have never rattled before and so with the rut close upon I was thinking about trying it out.

if the bags are not your choice what do you use?

I've only been sucessful with real antlers, as well as rakin a good bush near by, mix with some hoof stompin and you got yourself a good time.

Get your hands on a good sized fresh set of sheds and giver. I've tried older bleached out sheds with little response but have now started using fresh sheds and from the whiteys around here the bigger the horns the better it seems. Mixed with a grunt tube can be a deadly way to hunt whiteys and muleys. I tried the bags and the one i had didn't seem loud enough or very authentic. Actually killed a whitey and a muley that way last year.
Good luck.

I've tried some rattling last couple days but havent had anything come in, switched up to some Moose calls instead and had a few Cow moose come in to investigate. Put the antlers away for a few weeks and go get an immy.

Rattle bags work great. More compact than antlers and sound just the same.

ya but u cant rake the trees and ground.. or control the amount of sounds very well... dont get my wrong they do work... but id still stick with antlers
