was a pretty good morning. seen a large bull, cow and a calf moose all eating breakfast togeather, a decent 2 pt. muley, and had a bear dart inches in front of my truck. After watching the moose and seeing the 2 point on my hike thru my cut block of choice, I saw two coyotes on the way back to town. One of the filthy buggers even cought a ride home with me and my .300 win mag :-D

All in all id say it was a good end to a 4 day long weekend

Ya the .300 mag made quite the mess of an exit wound but i figured nobody needed to see that LOL.

I took a coyote with the 300wm as well yesterday. It is effective, I got complete penetration on a broadside shot with a 200gr Accubond

soo what do you do with the dirty dog??..... can u eat it? or do you keep it for the hide?

Take it home, and throw it out. Fur is no good yet. Ask Bigbore how they taste.

Just make sure you take it home.

.300 mags are great coyote medicine but are a bare minimum and do require premium bullets to do any good...LOL. Actually ANY rifle that puts a coyote down is a great Coyote rig, Good on ya smoke'n one of them stinky critters.

Did a quick long week end hunt up in 3-18 by Logan Lake, it was crawling with "dirty dogs" yapping
all night and eating the towns cats.

I was in logan lake for work the past two weeks, some nice country out there. any luck with bucks or dogs
