Kootenays Weekend

Visiting family in Trail, BC, everyday from Friday to Sunday we went out for a few hours to find a WT buck. Did not see one deer :???: but did see:

4 grouse (Saw a group of 3, but took off before a shot)
17 turkeys
4 bears

Congrats on the grouse! Nice to see a lot of critters, even if they aren't the ones you are after.

Was turkey open then?? I thought they had a season in the fall as well there. Would have been nice to get one for the oven for Thanksgiving.
