So if I shoot either of the above rather than the required peice of hide for species ID, do I need to leave evidence of sex on it ?? Sex doesn't matter on calf/fawn..

Found it, Regs say have to have for cow teats or balls for a bull. So guess legally evidence has to be there.I am refering to 2 sides, no head..Doesn't make sense for a calf but to be legal quess one must do what regs say..

Never killed one myself but there are lots of calves alone due to cow calf season. Lots would rather pay for the bullet and shoot mom..leaving the calf..
