I told you guys I'd get me some teal! 4 guns 4 limits.

12 teal, 3 woodies(they came in a bunch of 20 and were flying like teals), 1 wigeon, 2 turning drake pintails, 1 blackjack(Mattchu's fault), and the rest mallards.

Vids to come.

Always is Tony. Nothing better, those are duck/goose Maple flavored Breakfast sausages too.

Theres 10 teals in the pot ready for sunday dinner.

Here's a few volleys, double the first time, Matt and Phil dropped one each without letting me get a shot off. And some teal came in but they were in the corn so you cant see any drop except the last one on the 3rd shot in the air.

Make sure you switch to 1080 it looks alot better

Awesome!

Masters of the Morrison lake duck club strike again!

Had a great time with Dad and I have to figure out which bird it is exactly, I have without a doubt THE BEST FISHERMAN decoy ever! Brought them in at first light, and they stayed the whole morning! Dano must have one too, but his isn't quite as powerful, his though brings in pairs which in itself is impressive!

Very best,

Ian

Nice start to the season. Your breakfast beat our Tim Hortons breakfast sandwiches but at least the coffee was good as always lol

Nice bag CF. Tom and I managed 13 mallards, some even sported a full head of green! Tough going in the fog though as we were unable to see much for half the morning.
Like Ian said, there are a lot of Bass and crappie fisherman out there now and they don't seem to mind setting up 100 yards or so from guys with guns. I can see that they might pass by and throw a few casts on the way, but I can't see why they would want to hang around guys hunting for long.... but these guys did! Thanks for passing along a message to them Ian, we dropped a couple more after they moved on!
I'll be out there again tommorrow and wednesday, I'll try and remember my camera......

Great three generation pic Adam. The little guy will treasure a pic like that when he's older.

Well you know Ian, these 2 3/4" experts #4s going 1300fps really are head hunting rounds..........or its the head shots on the water......or it was the blackcloud matt and dad so shooting. I say teal are so flighty its all wings, so the chance of a wing shot is so much higher.

aliagha its in the fraser valley.

Ian, Cajun pot roasted duck is one of the easiest and most tasty ways to cook duck. Got the recipe from Pat Pitt(The Waterfowler). Take as many fully cleaned with back bones removed ducks that will fit in a roasting pan with lid. place one chopped onion, 1 green peppers, 1 link of what ever sausage you like on top of the ducks. Drizzle with pancake surup and sprinkle liberal amounts of cajun seasoning like Tony's. Pour in Coke or pepsi until covering all the ingridents. put lid on and bake for 3 to 3 1/2 hrs at 350 depending on size of ducks, without removing lid. take out ducks and sausage top with sauce from bottom of the pot. Last time I made it a ate 2 mallards to myself.
