My first day for geese this year, took my 5 birds in 1/2 an hour. There is only 1 cut cornfield in the valley and all the birds are using it.Lots of mallards too,but I didn't bother that's for tomorrow. There were a couple of specs mixed in with some lessers but 4 of my 5 birds were big locals. Nicely done Murray. I like your Avatar pic----makes me think I'd like to get up there for a snowstorm goose shoot this winter.

That all sounds great. What are you shooting now? The Browning or something else?

Hi Bill.I've been shooting a Beretta Urika 3" in Max4 camo for a number of years now.Once in a while I'll take one of the Model 12s or if I'm shooting the slough for mallards I'll sometimes take my 3"20ga.1100.Dad's old Superposed only gets used once or twice a year on pheasants I'm afraid, steel shot is too hard on 1920s barrels! Cheers,Gunner
