can anyone point me to any general areas around Fort St John where I can hunt deer without tresspssing.

go out towards husdons hope area across the peace, lots of open area out there

can anyone point me to any general areas around Fort St John where I can hunt deer without tresspssing.

My son and I just got back from Fort St John last Friday.You have to drive many miles to get out in the wild-1 - 1-1/2 hour.
Then you can hunt, if is not posted -we found that it was either to thick to hunt or you would sink out of sight in the wet lands.
seen a lot of animals but we had not luck, what we saw we could just as well shot the same sized animals here in the EK.

Towards Hudsons Hope??? It seams to me that the entire area from Charlie Lake to Hudsons Hope is all privite(sp) property and from what I've heard its very hard to get permision unless you know the land owner well. I'm new to this area aswell and I'm lookking forward to any info as well as the OP
