Here are some pics of my buddy's 6 year old hunting for the first time. Can you tell she really enjoyed it?

That's awesome, woodpile! Only a few more years until she's pulling the trigger herself. Looks like your buddy and his daughter will have many many years of great adventures ahead of them.

Man... those their are special moments for sure!! Another future hunter to join the ranks! Good on you guys for taking her out, and introducing her to the great outdoors!! I bet she'll remember that day for the rest of her life! Cheers!

She will forsure remember this. She grew up her whole life living in downtown Vancouver and didn't complain once while in the bush for four days.

Great to see young ones enjoying the outdoors. I'm taking the family on a moose trip tomorrow for a week and we are all excited about it. Great memories for everyone, congrats on what looked like a great trip.

Good to see you passing on the knowledge and traditions - IMO this does not happen enough. Spend the time with her now because in a few years she may not want to spend the time with you. LOL.

Nah, the outdoors are nothing new to her. Her father and I take her hiking in the mountains from time to time. We have camped and done 4x4 road trips. She did the Grouse grind two days after turning 3. A tough determined girl. It's funny though, she has been telling everyone who will listen to her about her trip. And now she has some show and tell antlers to take to school.
