So left my house at 2:30am this morning, parked at the "trailhead" around 4:30 and hiked up into the alpine in the dark, in hopes of finding a deer or elk, well it was fogged in and blowin' snow like a son of a gun so I didn't expect to see much. Anyway, saw very little for deer sign, but I cam across this guy, I was surprised to find him up high still. I was approx 6500 ft. I put a tape on him quickly on the mountain and got 6'5.

Great pictures I know that would have been no easy task getting that one home. Also lousy conditions to cape one in great job on a hard earned bear.

Nice! Some people run a tread mill, some people lift weights, I'd rather pack an animal out of some beautiful scenery any day!
