do you guys regularly see Grizz and wolves up there?
thanx for postin!

Alpine Addict
10-03-2011, 07:58 PM
usually see a pack of wolves once a season. I had a hunter shoot 2 but we never killed em. And it seems like some years you see bears and some you won't see a single one. Last year I didn't see one grizzly but this year I personally saw 12 out of 1 camp.

Damn you! Haha i would of been wrangling this year if Grade 12 wasn't in the way, but i guess its slightly important :D I even talked to the people at Mervyns and unfortunately i was to green and would of had to leave early for school so that wouldn't of worked. The good news is i have a friend who guides out of Scoop Lake outfitters and said he might be able to get me a wrangling job next year so i hope that works out and apparently they are a good outfit that pays the guides :D Not to sidetrack this thread so maybe just PM me (not fair to the outfit) but has anyone heard of Redstone Trophy hunts and if they are a good outfit or not? Great pictures and thanks for sharing!

interesting how guides & outfitters are portrayed as evil, baby eating, hunt ruining monsters on this forum, until one posts lots of great pictures ;)

I've hunted with a lot of guides on 4 continents and they are a mixed bunch, lots would be welcome at my table anytime, some I wouldn't give the time of day to. Like all people just it depends.
