this is my first deer i've ever shoot, ive never been up in area either had my uncle draw me a map on where to go has he use to hunt the area all the time but anyways me and my buddy went out first thing in the morning didnt see very much went back to camp made some breakfest and went right back out we drove into a cut went right to the back and my buddy said lets hike this ridge i went up threw the trees got to the top and saw move mint it was a deer and it had bone on its head! i started getting excited but all he was giving me was a neck shoot, he got spotted and started running but he ran right into the clear cut so i ran to the edge of the tree line he was about half way up the clear cut runnin for the trees i put my gun "boom!" he kept running i thought i missed put another one in the chamber but by this time the deer dropped so i did hit it! :-D http://s1121.photobucket.com/albums/l509/Doddylow/?action=view&current=beauty.jpg

Nice first deer! My first was a doe, then a spike, then a 2 point, another 2 point, then a 4 point! I like your way better.
