First Buck Ever!!

Went hunting on opening day with a buddy in region 2 and came across this beautiful black tail. first shot stunned him and second shot dropped him in his tracks. This is my first deer i have ever killed and hope to harvest more in the future! thanks to buddies that came up on the 3 hour hike to the alpine to help carry this thing out and teach me how to field dress !!

Well done ! Nice buck ..It would be kind of cool to start all over and re live the first kill with all the excitement and emotion and not knowing how to gut a critter! I can remember mine like it was last year ! After budy showed me how to open him up- what to do -where to start- it was very interesting! congrats again and good for you not shooting your first buck out of the truck ! happy hunting !
