Okanagan - CWD

I was thinking of going to do some hunting in the Rock Creek area in October. The father-in-law is concerned because he received an email from his club stating that there may be deer with CWD coming up from the States. I have not read the email so I'm alittle skeptical. I have done some Googling and there appears to be no evidence of CWD showing up in BC. Some other hunters that I have talked to don't think that it is an issue right now due that great barrier called the Rocky Mountains.

Anyone here have any info in regards this? Should I be concerned? Can I push the father-in-law toward the hunt?

No confirmed cases. If, when it shows up it will likely come through the peace from Alberta or possibly from a carcass from a reckless hunter.

Not something to be worried about at this point.
