I would like to go hunting up north maybe around Dawson Creek area. Having never hunted up there before I was hoping someone could share some info on the area and maybe point me in the right direction. I have hunted the Gang Ranch area through to Big Creek for the last 8 years. I would gladly share info on that area with anyone who wants to know. Thanks

where were you a couple of weeks ago?
Spent the 11th to the 17th at big creek with no luck for our leh moose...mind you full moon and warm temps didnt help, definetly want to go back next year if we get the chance and hunt the end of the month instead.

its hard to find a moose in the gang area, i have hunted deer on the gang and big creek area got deer and only ever seen one moose in the area many years ago, hardly ever saw trace of any, so i would think it would be hard to find on,, never did put in for leh, there,,

Hi Ghillie I am going to try and get back up there next elk season I usually hunt east of Dawson or between Dawson and TR lots of easy moose hunting but I love the elk season in that country. I had a brother in Dawson creek for years but he is down south now so I am not sure if I have a partner for that country . I have nephew in Fort St. John but do not know when he gets to go out he is using my 7mil and gets deer and moose every year but I may need to load some more rounds before going up there again .
