Wayne filled me in about this..It seems we have a member who frowned on one of his videos and also a local(Cranbrook) trapper who doesn't approve of his wolf videos being aired for the world to see. This happens on here when (visitors/guests) have a look on the forum. Its to bad, because their is alot of us that enjoy his vids.:confused:.

On a parallel note-I got an email a few days ago of a hunter who was calling elk in the Creston area and called in 6 wolves. He managed to nail 4 out of the 6 8-). Same pack as the one H47 called in???

I saw the wolf calling clip and enjoyed it very much. Now I can not for the life of me understand how anyone could ever have a problem with it. Someone please explain this to me, maybe I'm missing something.

To all that are wondering what happened on my call in on the wolf pack ,here it is on what she said to me..

I was sitting in my camp having a drink of whiskey to celebrate my birthday that day ,the trapper wife that traps in this region pulls up and said where is Wayne I called her name and said hi how are you I am sitting here.

She walks over and says I hear that you called in a pack of wolf in your camp I said yes I did and it was very exciting calling them in with my voice ,she then said I saw it on you tube and you should not be putting them clips up on the Internet for everyone to see.

I then said I did noting wrong doing this this is how I up load all my videos so I can put them up on the hunting forum she said you should not do that because people will know where you are ,I then said how will they ever know where I am when I don't tell them what kilometer I am at and what FSR I am on and what region I hunt ???? she said they have ways of finding out I call it a crock.

She then said you are really making a name for yourself in here and I said what do you mean by that she said noting and I said I have done nothing wrong and I will put up what ever I want on you tube I am doing nothing wrong posting my videos up on the Internet.

She the said that her husband is retired 24,7 and he will be in here I said what do you mean from that she did not reply ,I then said good for **** that he is retired and she then left ,that is the hole and true story.

This site is a very good site but there are are few members ready to nail you if you post up a thread ,I have been nailed a few time from a few post over the years and its not right for a member to site behind a keyboard to say something negative they should tell it to you in person face to face or keep they mouth shut ,thats all I have to say ,H-47...

I use a triple reed mouth diaphragm made by Larry Jones as for a hyper hot cow call..

As I said in one of my old posts I like to see my friend down animals that hunt with me more then me shooting them I like filming wildlife more then shooting the animals I have taken a change in my older years of life I really don't care if I ever shoot an animal again .

If I do shoot an animal this year it will have to better the best I have on the wall I call it selective hunting and I enjoy this kind of outings each and every day ,I will continue to post up video clips and pictures ETC in the future .

I thought about what you members have had to say on my wolf thread and I thank you members for standing behind me ,like many have said why let one person spoil it for all ,members are right on what they have posted on what there thoughts are and I agree ,Thanks again for all your positive feed back ,H-47 :) :wink:..

I agree with everyone else Wayne you vids are fun to watch in the off season and my 13 year old son enjoys watching them with me and its a good way to teach him in the off season. Sadly the province seems to be having a glut of a$$hats these days, just tell her to pound sand if she comes back people like that arent worth your time. I just seen this post now Wayne..... Tell her to f off you dumb ****. My dad and I were up in the area last year getting some firewood and doing a deer hunt combo. Well we come out of a road to come along the trapper and his lovely wife... First thing out of her mouth was the loggers weren't gonna be happy with us. My dad said they aren't going to be f***ing happy about what? we got this wood from a dead standing snag and you can shove it. Yet its actually him and his wife the loggers were pissed at for taking their downed larch to their cabin from their new cut blocks. He is just trying to hoard all of the wolves for himself. Tell them to blow it our their collective asses next time.

Wayne, thanks for your explanation on a disturbing situation. I am a year older than you, and although like you, am in pretty good shape, I'm not stupid enough that I think I can still successfully take on the big, aggressive young guys anymore. It can be very worry-some when you're all by yourself out in the back country and someone either implys or makes threatening comments. You seem to have handled it quite well. The woman (can't call her a lady) obviously saw and read your stuff via a computer so she also has seen all the comments, including yours, so would be pretty stupid to continue any harassment.....just keep doing what you have been, including why you are out there in the first place, enjoying your retirement in the great outdoors.....a lot of us are envious and wish we could be out there like you for the best time of the year.
