Hunting the Osoyoos Area

Hi. Any hunters here have any experience hunting the Osoyoos area for white tail? Planning a trip in mid November with my 12 year old son and was trying to find a area that offers some good opportunities. There is a either sex season there which I think would certainly help him bag his first deer. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'd head up towards Rock Creek and take some of the side roads look for white tails. I've seen them on the road to Conkle Lake a few times and also on the south by the old mine remnants. Around Osoyoos itself, I think it's mostly mule deer.
