Me n my girl are looking for better sleeping bag this winter.
We sleep in a trailer, but no heater. So weight is not a issue.
Recommend?
Anything available locally at a reasonable price?
Or better to just order from usa?

your compairing apples to oranges,
synthetic fill vs duck down,
cotton material (stays damp) vs nylon
cold zipper vs baffled zip
5lbs vs 3lbs

do you want cheap or good?

if your just in a camper why not use a bunch of blankets

you want something like this

or this

either way a liner is a must for long trips/usage

If its the one I'm thinking of, they have canvas outer, a zip in liner, and a zip in sheet. EASY to clean and take care of, if its hot take out the liner. They are big and heavy, but super comfy for long trips, in fact a lot of the GO use them because they are easy to wash between hunts. I think you can even get two of them and zip them together. I have one and absolutely love it, and have to get another now because my wife loves it so much i never get to use it.

maybe even something like this

As said above if weight is not an issue Chinook makes great bags. I have the Huntsman, it was as toasty as an oven last year hunting in -38 and sleeping in a wall tent.

If weight is not an issue the Woods 3 star or 5 star is definately top notch I bought an older Woods 3 star eiderdown fill for $100 on kijiji It is unbeleivably warm with a snap out wool liner.I slept in a wall tent a few years ago in Northeren Ontario and had to open it to let the heat out.It weighs 22 lbs If you dont have to backpack it.

I used the Cygnet from MEC this fall when we were in a flimsy tent and it was well below -10. With my woolies on, I had no problem staying VERY comfortable, and I usually sleep very cold. ie need lots of blankets.
It packs down to nothing (no pun intended), and is by far the warmest bag I've ever owned.
My $.02

Just remember one thing. The best way to stay warm and avoid sweating in a sleeping bag is to sleep naked.

Cabelas 3D. rated to -30 and only slightly over $100. I have one and been using for the last 3 years. It stays unzipped most of the time because it's too warm!

A great option is a military sleeping bag from a surplus store
