So I've been on one trip up north and are planning on a second trip up but i cant wait. Has anyone gone up the west side of harrison lake to do any hunting? i went up there last night a shot a few chickens but dint see any other sign? (well except bear scat on the roads) how far up do i need to go? There seems to be alot of new logging going on up there too.

Thanks Chody i'll give it a try but I've been up there before. does anyone on here maybe know if the road is even runable? last i knew it was either growen over and wash outs so you couldn't go up there. Any help on this or other areas to go up harrison would be greatly appreciated.

Why not walk it if it is not runable?

In June I drove into the Chehalis Valley on the mystery valley road.It is wide and clear.I think you should try further up Harrison though .The higher the better at this time of year then lower as the snow comes. It has always worked for me.

Is tha area of that huge slide on Chealis open again? Open for truck traffic that is?

As of June the slide was still not passable but i did hear that someone was checking it for stability for reopening it.

I wouldnt bother with mystery creek. We are logging at 8.3 km and the road gets a little bad after that. Could be good if you hike waaayyy up but its a hike.

It seems like theres alot of mixed information between this forum and a few 4x4 forums im on wether or not the road is open i guess ill just have to go up and see for my self and if it is then i guess i'll take CHEAMs advice and just keep going up towards pemberton and see if i cant find some nice cut blocks and slashes to set up on. thanks everyone for your help and if you think of anything else please add on
