Waterfowling in the castlegar area

just wondering if anyone knows of any areas where i can get a chance at some geese or ducks without decoys in the castlegar area? i have spent the last 2 years ducking hunting long the skeena and now going through waterfowl withdrawl. although i had to leave all my dekes in quesnel any helpful tips leading me to some ponds to jump shoot or places to sit and wait would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about Castlegar, but the Creston area has some areas that you could pass shoot or jump shoot if you're willing to drive over.
