First Goose Ever!!!

Well, it's official. I took my first goose yesterday. It was quite the learning curve. Hunted two days in a row to get it and still walked away wanting more.

Wish I had a picture to post, but didn't have anyone but the dog that wanted to tag along. Goose hunting just doesn't seem to be popular here in Quesnel.

Can't wait till the next goose hunt! Woohoo!

I just got into goose and duck hunting, myself! Yet to bag anything, but hoping to whenever my pal gets off this crazy 12-day stretch he's got at work, so we can hit his property. :)

Had to check the regs and make sure you didn't post something that would get you in trouble, goose opens here in region 8 today. I'm going to make an attempt at bagging my first today. Got a field close by where the geese have been feeding off the harvested corn for the last 2-3 weeks.
Maybe you can bring the popularity into goose hunting in Quesnel, keep knocking them down.

Has anyone taken a goose with a bow?
